Does She Need Emotional Connection Before Sex?

While emotional connectivity is desirable to men and women, more women express a desire to achieve such a connection before sex, even with a long-time partner. This can prove frustrating for men. Yet, they are easy ways to achieve this sort of connection.

While it’s logical to assume thinking and emotion are opposing goals, in fact knowing your loved one, is essential to an emotional connection. Like a gift that keeps giving, there are always new things to discover about your loved one. Ask and be open to learning new things about her. Lean in, maintain eye contact and offer the appropriate hug.

Even stressful times offer bonding opportunities. Let your loved one know, even in difficult times, you appreciate her and consider the problems the two of you face to be team challenges. Remember to stoke the emotional fires and the physical ones will take care of themselves.
