Sexologist Deepak Arora explains in detail about the conventional Masters and Johnson Squeeze technique to help fight premature ejaculation.
According to him this technique, which is over 50 years old is not as effective as it is touted to be, for the simple reason that it detracts the participants and takes the pleasure out of the act of love making. It further complicates the matter by making both of the partners feel ultra conscious of the problem and may make the male partner feel even more insecure than what he is already.
The female partner is the one who has to apply the pressure on the penis at the time the male partner is nearing ejaculation, so in order for this technique to work she has to be willing and ready to do this.
Another technique that is recommended by doctors is the “Distraction” method, in this the patient is encouraged to think about other things rather than sex during intercourse. While he totally respects the opinions of his peers, Deepak Arora is of the personal opinion that this distraction technique is not at all effective as it may lead the man to lose his erection and his partner may get irritated by his not being in the moment.
It far more important for the patient who is suffering from premature ejaculation to find out what the root cause of his problem is. He should consult with a trained professional who can help him find out and guide him in the proper way to treat his condition which can be through the means of the right medication, counselling or a combination of both.
